Tips for saving teraterm logs

In the previous article I shared how to save putty logs, this time I will share how to save Tera Term logs automatically.

  1. Setup – Additional settings
  1. Set directory and file name

For the file name format you can refer to the following link.

Default log file name(strftime format)
https://ttssh2.osdn.jp/manual/4/en/menu/setup-additional.html

  • You can also use the Log Rotate function, but this article will not discuss it.

    Thanks for the Tip!
Is there any way that Teraterm remembers the last log file position during the current session?
i do not want every time to modify the default log file directory, but Teraterm should start with the default, but once i save a logfile somewhere else Teraterm should remember this for the current session
I thought in older versions this was the standard behavior…
